SUMMARY:Coburg Lake Merri Creek to Ceres

 An easy and pleasant 12km 
 walk starting at the breathtaking Coburg Lake and trekking along the majes
 tic Merri Creek to the fascinating Ceres Community Environment Park area. 
 Along the way\, we'll soak in the scenery\, historic and picturesque sight
 s and history of this area that make the Merri Creek a true gem.&nbsp\; Up
 on arrival at Ceres (around 10am) we can indulge in a scrumptious coffee a
 nd cake at one of the cozy cafes or enjoy a picnic with your own delights.
  &nbsp\;Ceres is also home to a small handmade goods market\, grocery and 
 fresh bread made on the premises! Recommend you make room in your pack to 
 grab a fresh loaf! After that\, we'll make our way back to our starting po
 int taking one or two detours and loops. The route is mostly paved\, share
 d with bikes and with a hill or two if you want the extra exercise!

 lease arrange carpooling yourself if required. Carpooling fee $5 per passe
 nger.
 Although not a PT walk\, there is public transport readily availab
 le and close to meeting point.
 Meet at 8.30 am at carpark in Newlands Rd
  - (Coburg Lake Reserve) The car park is on your left as you enter Newland
 s Road from Murray Road.
