Participants will have done some backpacking previous ly. Over 5 days\, 4 nights\, we will explore areas around Falls Creek and discover some of the high country huts. We will return to the cars on day 2 and do a short car shuffle and restock supplies\, so the most food we wi ll need to carry will be 3 days worth. \;Participants will need to be able to show they have the right gear for a summer Alpine backpacking trip and have the fitness to manage a multiday backpack. Distances will be a bout 13-14 kms on day 2-4 and less on the first and last days as these wil l be travelling days. If the weather is good we will identify key mountain s\, in the distance - Feathertop and Bogong- but our route will be mostly flattish with a bit of gently undulation. By the end of the trip you will hopefully be itching to explore those distant hills.
