 Like to lead a w
 alk but unsure about how to do it? Come along to this course to extend you
 r knowledge beyond the club processes to prepare you for scouting and walk
  leading.
 Specifically developed for MWWC\, it covers walk selection\, p
 lanning a walk\, conducting it\, safety issues\, map types and map reading
  as well as the basic use of compass and GPS. Club processes will also be 
 covered and questions answered!
 This course is designed for potential le
 aders and members new to scouting and is a pre-requisite for the Navigatio
 n Practice day in March. Please book in if you have already led a walk wit
 hout the benefit of leadership training. There is plenty to learn.
 If th
 ere is enough demand\, a second course will be run later in February\, so 
 do wait-list yourself if the course is full so this can be arranged. I sug
 gest you book in soon if interested.
