SUMMARY:Mornington Peninsula: Two Bays Walking Track (Beginners' Pack)

 This is a Beginn
 ers' Pack and as such\, the pack will only be open to members who have nev
 er done an overnight camping trip with the club at the time of signing up.
  Numbers will be kept strictly limited in order to support all of you who 
 are new to overnight pack walks.
 This pack walk is located at Mornington
  Peninsula\, starting at the base of Arthurs Seat in Dromana and winding i
 ts way for 26kms over two days\, to finish at the Cape Schanck lighthouse.
 
 On Day 1 we will complete 16 kilometers and camp overnight at Lightwood
  Creek campsite which has a pit toilet and a water tank. The water will ne
 ed to be filtered or boiled before consuming.
 On Day 2 we will walk towa
 rds Cape Schanck\, stopping at Bushrangers Bay for a visit to the beach an
 d continuing on to our destination.

 Upon registering\, we will be able t
 o provide you with a map and detailed description of the walk\, a suggeste
 d pack list and ideas about renting or borrowing equipment. We can also ta
 lk to you about pack training in the weeks/months prior to the walk\, to e
 nsure you are fit enough to carry a heavyish pack for two days.
