 This is the second Leaders
 hip Course in 2026 - a repeat of 7th February course\, to cater for demand
 .&nbsp\;
 Like to lead a walk but unsure about how to do it? Interested i
 n scouting walks and learning to navigate?Come along to this course to ext
 end your knowledge beyond the club processes to prepare you for scouting a
 nd walk leading.Please note that you wont be expected to start leading unt
 il you feel ready for it. In the meantime\, you will be able to scout walk
 s drawing on the skills taught in this class.
 Specifically developed for
  MWWC\, the course covers walk selection\, planning a walk\, conducting it
 \, safety issues\, map types and map reading as well as the basic use of c
 ompass and GPS. Club processes will also be covered and questions answered
 !
 This course is designed for potential leaders and members new to scout
 ing and is a pre-requisite for the Navigation Practice day in March. Pleas
 e book in if you have already led a walk without the benefit of leadership
  training. There is plenty to learn.
