 Please note: This walk rep
 laces the Rubicon Aqueduct walk\, which could not be scouted due to proxim
 ity to the Longwood bushfire.
 The Yallock-Bulluk Marine and Coastal Rese
 rve was created in 2021 by combining several nature reserves\, including t
 he Wonthaggi Heathland Reserve. We’ll walk an 18km circuit on Boonwurrun
 g Country\, through varied ecosystems including coastal scrub\, grassy euc
 alyptus woodland\, wetlands and heathland. The route includes a 3km stretc
 h of beach walking\, which we’ll do early in the day at low tide. The te
 rrain is flat or gently undulating\, except for a short climb over a small
  dune to exit the beach. Poles are optional.
 Meet at the beach carpark a
 t the end of Olearia St\, Harmers Haven (marked as Coal Point on Google Ma
 ps) at 8.45am for a 9am start . There are no toilets at the carpark or on 
 the trail\, so you may want to stop at public toilets in Kilcunda or Wonth
 aggi on the way.&nbsp\;
 Carpooling is to be arranged by participants onc
 e bookings close. The carpooling charge is $20 per passenger. {/show}
