 This approximate
 ly 15km scenic hike follows the Yarra River\, offering beautiful riverside
  views and stretches of inland bush. The return route follows mostly the s
 ame track. Expect loose stones\, tree roots\, a few hill climbs\, and some
  narrow single‑file sections with steep drop‑offs toward the river. St
 urdy boots are recommended\, and poles if you use them. On the scout we di
 d experience a few mountain bike riders on a section of the track.
 Meet 
 at Jumping Creek Reserve picnic ground at 8.45 am for a 9.00 start. Toilet
 s are available only at the starting carpark.
 As the area is popular for
  water activities\, parking can be limited — carpooling will be arranged
  by the leader\, with a $10 fee per passenger.
