SUMMARY:Kilcunda George Bass Walk

 This 15-16km return coasta
 l walk has sweeping views of the Bass Coast to Cape Patterson and to Cape 
 Woolamai. The walk is named after explorer George Bass who visited the are
 a in 1797 when he named Westernport Bay. The elevation gain is 301metres. 
 There are some challenging sections with steep climbs\, alongside shaded a
 nd open walking as well as beach access. Flies were quite present during t
 he scout so bring repellent. There is a variety of coastal flora and birds
 . Sturdy boots and walking poles are recommended.&nbsp\;

 l be $20 cash &nbsp\;(248km return) paid to the driver and organised by th
 e leader.&nbsp\;
 Meeting Point is in the car park on the ocean side at t
 he Kilcunda foreshore reserve and playground where there are toilets.&nbsp
