 This walk of approximately
  13.5km&nbsp\;passes through the Spring Gully Mine site\, considered impor
 tant archaeologically and historically and also a beautiful box ironbark f
 orest. It offers a fantastic visual tour of the region's history and envir
 onmental impact of gold mining. We will pass through Fryerstown and its ce
 metery and then walk via Murderer’s Flat to Breakneck Hill (recently ren
 amed Gulawil Ridge). The walk is on gravel and rocky tracks and 4WD tracks
  so boots and poles (if you use them) are recommended.&nbsp\;

 ace: We will meet at Chewton Soldiers Memorial Park\, near the toilets\, j
 ust off Fryers Rd and about 200 m from the intersection with theB180.&nbsp
 \;
 Meeting time is 8.45 for 9am drive in convoy to the start of the walk
  (about 5km).
