 geography than a snappy walk\, this will be a kind of topographic explorat
 ion\, investigating the landscape starting out in an ephemeral creek bed\,
  meandering along verges and reserves\, then - after lunch in a grand old 
 homestead - up and over the most elevated feature of Melbourne's metropoli
 tan area\, Mt Cooper\, in Bundoora Park. Just shy of 12km and mostly on di
 rt rather than sealed surfaces\, there is also something of a climb up Mt 
 Cooper\, requiring a bit of stamina.

 e that we'll start (Rosanna station) and end (stop 61\, Plenty Road\, Bund
 oora\, tram route 86) on different transport routes. {/show}
