 This is a 23km circuit nea
 r Healesville\, starting from Donnelly’s Weir Car Park.
 The circuit wa
 lk offers different terrain\, roads\, fire tracks and one such is Condons 
 Track. It climbs very steeply from Donnelley’s Weir to the height of the
  Great Dividing Range. The track twists and turns and changes from gentle 
 to downright steep. You need to take care not to lose footing on the fores
 t floor\, lots of undergrowth and scrubby mixed forest.
 We will climb 11
 60m elevation reaching Mt St Leonard.
 IMPORTANT Both Condon track and de
 scent from Mt St Leonard can be slippery and concentration needed. There a
 re plenty of undulations and ups and downs which will give you your cardia
 c workout for the day.
 Please wear proper hiking boots/shoes with good t
 read. Hiking poles recommended if used and gaiters a clever idea. Please e
 nsure you have eaten breakfast as MT will not be till after walking 6km wh
 ich includes 100 minutes of the Condon Track's steep uphill of about 2.5km
 . (If you need some sustenance\, please have something you can eat on the 
 walk as there is nowhere to stop on the track till we get to the road).
 
 Meeting place: Donnelly’s Weir Car Park (prior to park\, there is a low 
 creek crossing in the car-my Subaru was not a problem)
 Arrive at 8.15am 
 for an 8.30am start.
 Carpooling is encouraged and will be arranged by th
 e Leader.
